Sitting in Faadhippolhu (LH) atoll, this island is home to one of the most exquisite landscapes. Fushifaru is located between two channels connecting the atoll’s inner lagoon to the outer sea. Its historical and natural distinctiveness is evident from three of the most extraordinary dive sites in the southern channel, synonymously named after the island. Neighboring a sandbank towards the north, Fushifaru is also surrounded by a nationally protected reef.
